China opposes tariff wars, coercion after Trump's threat to BRICS countries

Beijing [China], July 7 (ANI): China on Monday reponded to US Preident Donald Trump threat of impoing an additional 10 per cent tariff on countrie upporting anti-America policie of BRICS nation, with Foreign Minitry pokeperon Mao Ning defending the bloc and reiterating Beijing oppoition to tariff preure.

In a Truth Social pot on Sunday, Trump aid the United State would enforce an additional 10 percent tariff on any country aligning themelve with the Anti-American policie of BRICS with no exception, although he did not pecify which policie he wa referring to. According to CNN, the announcement came a the adminitration prepared to end tariff letter to dozen of countrie beginning Monday, ahead of a key July 9 deadline.
