New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Member of Parliament Public Account Committee (PAC) on Tueday raied eriou concern over aviation afety following the Air India Flight AI-171 crah in Ahmedabad and the udden urge in flight fare from Srinagar to other citie after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, according to ource.
The Parliamentary panel today met with top official from the Civil Aviation Minitry and repreentative from major airline.
A per ource, everal committe member have expreed trong diatifaction over the way variou airline dratically increaed their fare from and to Srinagar after the April 22 attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kahmir.
The ource alo mentioned that many MP noted that uch urge in fare i againt the et tandard.
A urge in airfare following the terror attack in Pahalgam prompted the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to iue an adviory to airline regarding udden fare hike and to waive cancellation charge.
Among other iue dicued, according to ource, ome member from the Oppoition partie have demanded a pecial audit of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
Apart from airfare concern, MP dicued the June 12 Air India crah invetigation and ought clarity on everal key point from minitry official. A MP ought to know about the time frame for completing invetigation and analyi of the plane Black Box and were there any offer from foreign expert to ait in the invetigation.
Official from the Minitry of Civil Aviation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Airport Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA), Airport Authority of India (AAI), AAI Cargo Logitic and Allied Service Company Ltd. (AAICLAS), BCAS, and repreentative from major airline like Air India, IndiGo, Akaa and SpiceJet were preent at the meeting.
Another key iue dicued wa the fatal crah of Air India Flight AI-171 on June 12. The aircraft, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, crahed hortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. It truck a hotel building of BJ Medical College, killing 241 of the 242 people on board, including former Gujarat Chief Miniter Vijay Rupani.
The Aircraft Accident Invetigation Bureau (AAIB) ha ubmitted it preliminary report to the Minitry of Civil Aviation and other authoritie. According to ource, the crah protection module (CPM) from one of the black boxe wa retrieved, and the data wa uccefully downloaded on June 25 at the AAIB Lab in Delhi. To verify the data, an identical unit known a a golden chai wa ued.
One black box wa recovered from the rooftop of a building at the crah ite on June 13, and the other from the debri on June 16, ource confirmed.
The invetigation i being led by the AAIB Director General and include expert from the Indian Air Force, Hindutan Aeronautic Limited (HAL), and the US-baed National Tranportation Safety Board (NTSB), which i the deignated invetigation body from the country of the aircraft deign. Aviation medicine and air traffic control expert are alo part of the team.

According to official, thi i the firt time India i decoding black box data dometically. On June 25, the memory module wa uccefully acceed and it data wa downloaded at the AAIB Lab, the official aid.
A of now, all 260 bodie from the AI-171 crah have been identified and handed over to familie. Civil Hopital Medical Superintendent Rakeh Johi confirmed, A total of 254 DNA matche were done, all identified and handed over. Six were identified through facial recognition.
